This wait and see business if for the birds. I talked to Frank on the phone a few times last night, and we have dinner plans for Saturday. The more I talk to him the more interesting he gets.  It’s nice being in the comfortable place where the other person seeks you out, you know there is interest on their part, what a good feeling. He is a lot more normal and down to earth than I expected, but I am also a little hesitant because it’s clear he makes a great deal more income than I do, and he works out at the gym for an hour everyday. Teasing, I brought up the gym and how that was a little intimidating, but as he pointed out, he walked up to me at the bar and started talking. So I am putting that out of my head.

I do know he has a date with someone else on Friday, which I find a little odd, but it’s also nice to have the whole story. And honestly, I have not even known him a week, why should he, or would he change plans at this point. This however does not stop me from being curious about this other person.

I stopped by the bar last night to see the bartender I’ve mentioned in the previous post. I swear, I can not tell if he is interested and flirting, or if he is just being nice. Usually I can tell right away, but he is such a honest and straight forward guy, I just can’t tell. I got a drink, small talk exchanged and I mentioned something about being hungry. He said I could have his banana but not his energy bar. I laughed having no idea if he was being serious or not. Dude, you are a smoking hot gay man bartending in a gay bar and you are talking about letting me have your banana! The thing is, I can totally see him bringing a snack with him for the night, another one of these healthy bastards! Ugh!

I think that’s all I have to report, overall it was a quiet night. I did see someone at the bar who I have been interested in for some time, but he was sitting there with this really obnoxious creepy guy and letting him rub all over him. Big no thank you on that. I will never understand why men do that, if you are not interested in someone, why would you let them touch all over you. You could see this other guy totally getting off on it. Whatever, everyone makes his own choice. I have to learn to accept that.
